  • This HUGE SPECIMEN measures approx. 18″ wide!  This is for one half only.. the other half of this specimen is in a private collection.  The outer portion of the ammonite, and the whirls have a thin layer of Pyrite surrounding them.  The chambers are filled with yellow calcite.  There are a few unfilled chambers containing druzy.. this is a beautiful specimen!!
